Programme Examples
The content and structure of all programmes are tailored to a client’s needs. To discuss, please be in touch. Here are some outlines as examples.
Day-Long Programmes
For groups of any size, a one-day programme can be an effective pause to assess what’s already working and to explore new skills. It gives time (often missed in busy teams) to assess skills strategically and to create a common experience to refer back to. Such days might be about Influencing, Pitching and Presenting, Creative Thinking, Facilitation, People Management, Personal Impact, Connection and Communication.
A lot can be covered in a full day. Sometimes it’s good to add on a ‘Warm-up’ or ‘Application Check-In’ session (a 2hr-ish session, remote or in-person) before and/or after the day to help create the environment for a successful day and to make sure action-points are being applied. Multi-day programmes can be structured back-to-back or over months with application challenges between.
Multi-Module Programmes
Remote or in-person, multi-module programmes create a structured build of learning and application, with real-world testing and adaptation between. Multi-Module Programmes work well for sustained and evolving real-world application challenges. For example, Creative Problem Solving, Leadership, People Management and Development.
A 3-Module ‘Creative Problem Solving’ Programme might look something like:
- • Structuring the Environment for Innovation (Module 1)
- • Thinking Differently (Module 2)
- • Creative Influencing (Module 3)
(Taken from a programme for an existing client which has run over 50 times to date from 2020 to present day)
A 4-Module ‘Building Trust and Creating Sales’ Programme might look something like:
- • Leading Conversations to Better Understand Client Needs (Module 1)
- • Structuring their Story for Impact (Module 2)
- • Pitching to Win Business (Module 3)
- • Building Trust (Even When Things Go Wrong) (Module 4)
(Taken from a programme for an existing client for Q2 2026)
A 6-Module People Management Programme might look something like:
- • Defining the Role (Module 1)
- • Healthy Performance and Motivation (Module 2)
- • Giving and receiving Feedback (Module 3)
- • Listening and Coaching (Module 4)
- • (Exciting) Goal-Setting (Module 5)
- • Innovation Culture (Module 6)
(Taken from a programme for an existing client, run 4 times 2024-2026)
Big Team Build / Away-Day Programmes
On- or off-site, these programmes might be for bonding or team building generally, or to explore specific skills and how to embed them as a team. For example –
3-Hr ‘Proactive Collaboration’ Team Build
- • This programme explored what was blocking the team’s connection and created ‘guardrails’ to protect against them; it gave structures for the team to analyse different interpersonal styles, needs, and how to integrate each into their team culture; it allowed time to practise networking skills with each other; it facilitated the creation of ‘team systems’ to support an ongoing informal team network.
(This Team Build Programme ran in York, UK in Q3 2025 for 60 people. The client said, “Really comprehensive. We have some real legacy from this training.”)
A One-Day ‘Growth Mindsets’ Away Day.
- • For a long-standing and high-performing team in a company about to enter a significant restructure, this day was about practical skills for staying proactive and maintaining team trust amid uncertainty.
- • Starting with a practical session in Improvision Theatre, relevant structures to support team-work and psychological safety were then taken into their business practice. The programme then explored tools to build group and individual resilience amid uncertainty; ways to stay proactive and productive; tactics for effective decision-making (under pressure); unhelpful cognitive ‘defaults’ and ways to protect against them; everyone left with individual action plans and team systems to remain proactive and resilient in the coming months.
(Run in Berkshire, UK in Q2 2025 for 90 people. The client said, “Delivery, engagement and feedback were outstanding.”)
Executive 1-2-1 Coaching Programmes
These programmes can be used for specific situations (for example Leading Through Uncertainty; Company-Wide Presentations; or tailored training to hit the ‘next level up’) or as ongoing, regular support. Short, targeted, regular, meetings.
Team Culture Shift
When industry environment or other externalities have changed and what previously worked for a team doesn’t work as well anymore. Here, the programme design depends on the situation. It might involve the creation of safe environments to better understand the past; it might be all about new practical tools for the team to use in their ‘new-world-order’; it might be about creating ‘Operating System 2.0’ for the team once they’ve unlocked their current patterns. Or a mix of them all. These programmes might be one-off day-long sessions. They might also involve separate 1-2-1 sessions and/or small-group sessions for MDs and SLTs, which dovetail with structured sessions for the larger team.
A ‘Team Culture Shift Programme’ might look something like:
- • One-Day Team ‘Culture Workshop’ session
- • 11 Coaching Hours for the company MD
- • 5 Coaching Hours for the company SLT
- • 90 Minute Team ‘Wrap-up and Commit’ facilitated session
(Programme run for an existing client over 7 months in 2025. The client said, “We’ve seen really great results. Feedback from the team has also been positive in terms of how everyone is feeling. I see this as a combination of the results of the recent reorganisation and the efforts made off the back of the work you’ve been doing with the team so thank you!”)
